Humraz* is privately
owned and funded entirely by its founders Asmat Monaghan and her daughters,
Amberine and Hinna.
*'HUMRAZ' is an anagram of Asmat's three daughters' initials.
Asmat Monaghan

Asmat grew-up in Glasgow and built a successful career in technology and management spanning more than twenty-five years.
In 1992, at the age of 32, she was
diagnosed with a debilitating illness.
As a working mother, she could not afford to succumb
to her illness and stay at home. Instead, with the help of her doctors and
a lot of medication, she continued to work and went on to perform very senior
roles in private and public sector organisations.
She has held key roles in blue-chip organisations such as Sun Microsystems, BUPA and Nortel Networks, where she was IT Director. Asmat progressed to become a very successful
management consultant using her expertise to help commercial organisations
such as airlines, consultancy firms and research groups as well as a number
of public sector bodies.
Knowing that her health would not allow her to continue in these corporate
roles until retirement age, Asmat wanted to establish a business
that would allow her to give something back and be able to work for as long as possible.
Her ambition was to develop a commercially viable company that would fundamentally benefit its users and good causes and would reflect the strong values and ethics that are inherent in everything she does.
Humraz is the creative
result of this mix of beliefs, ambition and pragmatism.
Amberine Rather
Chief Operating Officer
Mother-of-two Amberine is a Law graduate, and holds post-graduate
qualifications in Law as well as a Masters in Information Technology.
Before Humraz, Amberine was an IT Consultant for Oracle Corporation, one
of the world's largest enterprise software companies. In this capacity, she
helped clients such as Barclays Bank, Tropicana, Sony Music and JP Morgan Chase.
Amberine has a rational, common-sense approach to business that helps Humraz
maintain a steady and pragmatic path to growth whilst ensuring all operations
run smoothly.
Hinna Khan
Chief Business
Development Officer
Hinna, also mother to two children, is a qualified Chiropractor. She holds
a degree in Complementary Therapies with post-graduate qualifications as a
Chiropractor, as well as numerous on-going post-qualification certificates.
Hinna is the ultimate people person with a style and demeanour that puts
people at ease. She has training in sales, competitive intelligence and
market research; skills she finds particularly useful in her work with Humraz.
